It looks like a gosh-darned Dodge Omni. And then I drove it on a mountain road at 10/10ths. Didn’t care that there were 1000-foot drop offs: it was so predictable, so sorted, so unbelievably fun. And fast as hell. Or at least it felt it, which is all that matters. This was my first time really pushing a 100% stock Mk1 VW GTI. And it’s basically everything my BitchBasket is - just with half the power; slow, manual steering; and seats that aren’t Recaros. Absolute magic.
