I loved every second of it even the hardships that came along, experienced my first quali, race start and saw how hard some of the drivers really fought. 😳 A lot of things that we can look back on and learn from, made some rookie mistakes. I guess that's why it's called being a rookie. But being in situations like this is where you learn the most. Due to several circumstances. I was only able to have a few laps in the test sessions and my first proper laps around the track was during qualifying. It was a set back so I spent race 1 & 2 building up to it especially since the track is filled with insane elevation changes, high speed and unforgiving corners; hence the name “mini Nurburgring”. Great learning experience, I really wish I could’ve shown more speed but for now we still have to work towards it and take it 1 race at a time. The great thing is, in less than 1 weeks time, we are back at it at Bar...

Although the circumstances of this upgrade weren’t the greatest, it’s been an incredible and very rewarding learning experience. Thanks to Cameron, the engine is balanced within a tenth of a gram, only burned half a quart of oil during the first ten hours, and runs smooth as glass. We also replaced the ignition harness and exhaust system, as well as painted the case, cylinders, engine mounts, inside of the top cowling, intake tubes, oil tank, and cleaned the firewall. Thank you to @obrienshangar who let us borrow his @mccauleyprops 1B90/7150 cruise prop for the long trip. And of course, a HUGE thank you to @nealaviationksee, @artcraftpaint, and @garminaviation!
