The design tracks pretty close to a recently fully restored 1972 911 S 2.4 Targa. The exterior is black with platinum accents, and the interior features black and Cool Grey checkered seat inserts. Plus, it comes with a Porsche Design watch called the Chronograph 1 — 911 Edition 50Y Porsche Design. The watch is limited to 750 pieces. How much? About $195,000 before dealers add an additional $150,000. Don’t laugh. What if you just want the watch? Good news, Porsche is making 500 additional examples called the Chronograph 1 — 1972 Limited Edition. They are nearly identical — save for the Porsche Design logo — and both look just like first PD watch released 50 years ago.
