I love the original photo too and dont know how to accept the new photo for what it is instead of what it used to be. I feel the same about college... Im nearly done with my undergrad degree, im in the last two days of finals week. My physical state is altered. My stress has created the worst break out of acne I've had in years. My bones, muscles, and joints have formed an army against me. Sleep is a foreign friend that left two weeks ago or maybe it's been years. When i came to college I suppose I didn't know much. Now i know some things but also have to reconcile the changes within myself that have procured from being an art major. Some say that being an art major ruins your art, makes you lose your initial self. I believe the real art in that is to then find your way back. I yam what I yam, and I knows what I know.".

Best thing to do is get a hotel near the track the night before. From my house it’s about 30 minutes quicker to go up Angeles Crest and Angeles Forest as opposed to the 5 to the 14. About a mile up the Crest conditions deteriorated. Dark, damp, drizzling, and foggy. Also, the Lamborghini SVJ is on P Zero Corsas—tires that hate water. For once, I’m driving like a civilian. Suddenly a Porsche is up my butt. Now, when you drive stuff like the SVJ you become accustomed to people driving and acting very weird. Did he want to pass or just get a closer look? Or to steal the car/shout something dumb? Hard to say. It was foggy to the point that that brights offered worse visibility than standard lights, so I kept my pace slow and steady. The Porsche stayed up my ass. As we made the left onto Angeles Forest there were 5 cars in front of us. Me, the red Porsche, and a white Corolla in front of me all jumped into the passing lane. For the first time in history the Corolla driver put the pedal to the metal and passed the other four cars. I then passed him, but by the time the lane ended the Porsche wasn’t able to get around me. I was going to let it pass, but just ran out of space. So, he resumed his position in my butt and even flashed me a few times. In about a mile, I got stacked up behind a red Honda Civic going 42 mph. And you know what? That speed was safe for the conditions. Suddenly on a double yellow, the red Cayman flew around me and passed the Honda. “Ballsy,” I thought to myself. About a mile later the Honda slams on its brakes and swerves to the right. There’s a tire and wheel with hunks of busted suspension lying in the middle of the road. I pull over and the two guys—mid to late 20s—are out of the car, unscratched. Airbags didn’t even go off. They felt really bad and really dumb. It’s funny cause earlier today with @magnuswalker on literally the same stretch of road I told him something like, “I’m not going to push it as hard as I normally would because the conditions are bad.” Magnus agreed. Chalk it up to old age and tenacity. Kids, be careful!".
