Col. “Butcher” slowly drove us down a runway between two pairs of taxiing F-22s. As commercial jet liners and military airships, including a Royal Australian Airforce C-17 Globemaster, taxied parallel to us, Butcher explained how the #HawaiianRaptors operate, the differences between an #F22, F-15C and F-16, and the future of fighter jets including the F-35. Then, when the time was right, we all hopped out to watch four #Raptors scream by at take off. Epic. Aloha. #HANG 🤙🏽".
