Upon some quick research, these things were in production for 11 years. Today, the usual product cadence for an entry luxury car is around 7 years. Then again, back in the 1980s, people started the decade without over-leveraging credit to support car sales, so fewer cars were sold, and thus, cars didn’t need to be redesigned so quickly. These things were over-engineered to be just as competitive at the end of the 1980s as they were at the very beginning. #latergram"

That’s probably because it was built to the personal spec of Schorndorf Porsche dealer Paul-Ernst Strähle, a former factory racing driver. And that’s really a shame as we think it looks great in Gelb Orange. This unique Turbo also has essentially every option box checked in addition to a number of items offered by Porsche Exclusive, including a roll cage, competition bucket seats, racing harnesses (which was never fitted) and had the rear seats deleted.
