Re: Dominic's FixBefore fix: 10% constant ram usage, 200 items to be uploaded, 5000 files to be downloaded, stuck and reboot did not fix it. So I tried the fix mentioned in the reviews: (1) Installed the X64 of the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest supported downloads", (2) signed out of iCloud (ALERT: if you have sync conflicts or pending uploads, find them and back them up because they will be erased when you sign out of iCloud), (3) uninstalled iCloud Drive and iCloud Outlook, (4) REBOOT, (5) reinstalled iCloud from Microsoft Store, (6) signed in, (7) checked "iCloud Drive", (8) clicked "Options", and (9) "Changed..." my folder to a different drive. That is all, then patiently wait for pending (15min to 1h for 10k files, depending your CPU/Internet). Maintenance tips: If you have LOTS of small files, zip them up and only store the zips! It is faster to download 1 large zip containing 10k files than 10k small snippets! Don't store git repositories in iCloud Drive for this reason too.FrenzyJan 30, 2023
